Bachmann 0-6-0 switcher
« on: July 21, 2012, 07:06:24 pm »
hi all

we have just got back from a holiday in North Wales and as any rail enthusiast would do we visited several of the NG Railways

and my father has now decided he would like a small 009 layout  :o

so we picked up a couple of loco kits he liked the look of and some rolling stock kits  :-\

by my mistake (not reading the description on the kit)
one of them needs the Bachmann 0-6-0 chassis so i was wondering how good a runner they are (it will have the tender removed)
and also what's the best place to pick one up (shop wise) and what would be a fair price to pay new or second hand
as i have no idea about U.S loco prices

any help would be greatly appreciated  :)

dave
