On a positive note, Atlas have indicated in a comment on their FB page that they use more than one factory, and have also just announced a range of new models using the former Walthers tooling they purchased recently.

The Intermountain F7 A+B units that I ordered in December 2015 (!) have been moved in production category from Ďqueued for productioní backwards to Ďconfirmed for productioní. No dates...

The change in status came with the IM schedule update of 23 July, just ahead of the OP on this thread. Thereís no mention of the actual issue on their website, that I can see.
