N Scale US / Canadian vehicles
« on: December 05, 2017, 11:05:09 am »
No doubt many of you "populate" your layouts with suitable cars, lorries etc to enhance their appearance.

Looking on the internet I have come across Trainworx commercial vehicles which look absolutely superb but the looks and detail comes at a price.

Can anyone one recommend good quality vehicles (as opposed to the cheap plastic looking variety) and if so from where they can be sourced.

Many thanks in anticipation of any replies.

Paul

I've picked up a number of the Classic Metal Works vehicles for my layout in recent years, though they do tend to be for older (1940's/50's/60's) prototypes.
I believe the company has been taken over earlier this year and this may have affected their availability. Certainly one of the places in the US I have bought them from in the past doesn't seem to be stocking as many types as they have in the past.
