Title: Adding a Quote
Post by: port perran on March 16, 2014, 01:00:40 PM
I'm sure adding a quote to a Topic is VERY easy but I can't make it work.
How's it done please ? ???

When you press the 'Reply' button and the window opens for you to type what you wish, you can use the 'Down' arrow or the 'Page Down' button to find the post you wish to take the quote from. To the right you will see 'Insert Quote' and if you click on that it will insert that whole post into your reply so that you can then edit it.
All you have to remember is to retain the first and last quotation
Quotemarks (if I knew how to do a screen shot for you it would help better :-[)
I usually insert the quote and then put my comments after the last
Quoteor you can end up with your comments inside the original quote.

Once you get the hang of it, you can insert multiple quotes into your replay.
I hope this helps and is understandable :worried:

Or if you click on "Quote" in the message you wish to insert, it will automatically open up the reply window with the quote inserted

Have a play about on this thread and once you have mastered it you can always delete you practice posts  ;)

cheers John.
