Now shown as owned by Leipzig Airport with the sale in January 2017. Aircraft is no longer on the FAA register as airworthy and was deregistered on 17 of Janaury 2017 with a registration AP-BEQ cancelled on the same day. According to other details Pakistan leased it from PILAC (Pakistan Aviation leasing) and was bought by them from new!
Certainly not the first time its happened. American lost a 727 for 3 months only for it to turn up parked outside the AA hanger at Tulsa with an incorrect reg on it!
