I suspect you need the last invoice number not the first as they seem to be being shipped in order of "fully paid up"  not first deposit.

Is there any chance of spare bodyshells being available? I have one or two ideas....

 :laughabovepost:

Nope!

The whole point of crowd funding is that the models wouldnt be repeated for a minimum of two years and that would depend on minimum order numbers being met... there wont be spare bodies for another company to buy up sticker up and sell on fella AFAIK..

Looks like the front faring isn't fixed correctly. I had this issue on one of my Pendolinos and it was just a case of tightening a screw. Dr Al also has this issue but in his case it was a bent chassis

I've removed the lid on this car and I'm sorry to report that the problem is fundamental as the chassis end is bent downwards just forward of the front bogie. Maybe this could be bent back, but I'm not going to risk it currently. There is absolutely no damage to any of the plastic components, so I doubt this is a shipping issue (it would have needed one hell of a knock to bend that in a foam lined box), it may have been assembled unawares with a bent casting:

The excitement is building for us outside the UK too - I got an e-mail from Rapido to suggest I tell my credit card company the equivalent of "brace for impact"! Can't wait...
Still planning a layout...

I took the body off one of my Power Cars and when I replaced it the faring looked like this, I just had to wiggle it and press on the nose and it clicked into place. I think it's just a very tight interference fit, or it was for mine.

Cheers, Mark.

Just to say my 9 car was up and running on the "office training railway" over weekend and due to joys of the service falling apart on the full size trainset. It was left to get on with it for some 6 hours and it was still running around.

It fills the fiddle yard at 9 cars was was reduced to 5 and except when hit by a excited finger by a viewer has been hugging track really well.

Pendo No.2 duly arrived as predicted today complete with a complete set of 4 pairs of wheels, light bars and a nice bundle of leaflets and vouchers for various toys.

I might have to buy a set of Unitrack to have a play or I am not going to get these trains running soon.

That's exactly what I did :D

My Pendo has been running on an oval of Unitrack on the dining room table most of last week's evenings and it looks brilliant. I particularly like the table lamps in first class. Interested to see how it looks with the light bars...

I didnt order the light bars for my Poppylino and I was wondering if I do order a set will.I need to fit them in all nine coaches or just the six without the table lamps  if you fit them in the three first class will you still be able  to see the lamps .I have asked Ben and Mike if there are spare light bars but at the moment there are none but Rapido said they can supply more if required once all the Pendos are delivered  to all the customers here .
Perhaps Only Me knows if the lamps still show with light bars fitted ?

Bob I was thinking along the same lines, didn't order as my credit card was already reeling. If Rapido will supply more that'd be excellent news.
