I'd be shaking too. Tea, yuk. I don't leave the house til the pubs open. That tends to cure any shaking :D.

Sorry, off topic.

Dale, hope you have a fabulous time and looking forward to any pics. If you see any Kato RENFE (Spanish) loco offers while you're there please let me know. Same goes to you George.

All I know about travelling in Japan is that if you have tattoos you cover them up. Big no no if they're on show.

Have fun chaps.

Cheers weave  :beers:

Bealette teaches English here and on Monday one of her students, a lovely lady in her fifties, organised a private ceremony for us. Mrs Bealman and Bealette were in kimono's walking the streets to the ceremony!

I had to take part too, and was shaking!

Come on, it wasn't that scary was it?

"The cafe featured in the introduction is close to Shinjuke station"

I have just learned that this interesting bar with the model railway featured in NHK's Japan Railway Journal, Bar Ginza Panorama Shinjuku, closed a few months ago.

Strict orders not to post pics, though!

I thought it was all about having a cuppa.
Just what were you doing to have a photo publicity ban?  :o
To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

The ban is not from the tea ceremony ladies. It's from Mrs Bealman-san!  :uneasy:
