This material has been available to designers for some time. For my Tomytec/Borismaster chassis interfaces it was less suitable than the cheapest White Strong Flexible/Black strong flexible materials. At the same thickness as the WSF it was not as flexible and turned out to be more brittle. It compares more with FUD though with poorer resolution and possibly better flexibility, and and a hefty price premium. I may try it out on future projects but I am struggling a bit to think of the real value of its characteristics.

I tried it during the trial, when the price was very similar to WSF.

The black was quite a good finish, but there did seem to be some dimensional issues.

However, as soon as they released it to makers, they upped the price, so it is now more expensive than FUD.

I should point out that HP advertise the machine as having higher throughput and lower cost than comparable machines. I am one of many from the trial who have complained about the cost increase, with no reply when I last checked.
