It's in the catalogue, so I'm sure it will be available when it's ready
Announced in 2013 to be available 2016
Revised in 2015 that production was suspended to correct errors with drawings
Revised in 2017 that production had restarted, to be available 2019

I have six Farish / Electra Vinyls DBSO in ScotRail livery, individually numbered
I sold the Blue / Grey ones some time ago
All have painted interiors

What chance the Farish ones will have working lights and DCC socket?

A few days ago I'd have something along the lines of "the same chance as Wenger leaving Arsenal while he still has a heartbeat" but you know, miracles happen! So who knows!?

I'd have thought it was quite likely, DVTs are light fitted after all, and the OO gauge ones are too.

First photos that I have seen of Farish DBSO from Warley this weekend:

There was a review of the OO one in Rail Express a month or two ago, and it stated that it has DCC circuitry incorporated into the main circuit board (which I assume means no plug-in decoder).

It therefore seems likely that they will do the same with the N-gauge one.

Greetings

Mentioned on another thread and previously shown on Facebook group, here are the photos of the latest sample of the DBSO from TINGS 2019:

It does look good doesn't it?

The Blue/Grey one was there too, at the other end of the cabinet I think (sorry, I've not got a pic myself)
If it moves and shouldn't, duct tape. It it doesn't move and should, WD40...

Ooops

Didn't spot that, and just checked didn't get a photo even by mistake

And now I can't find the pictures I saw, I've had a quick look thought the forum facebook page....but they might have been on the n gauge Groups.io.

I think there was a row of Blue/Grey mk2s that had the DBSO at the end.

The DBSO looked detailled essential if have a scottish theme or one anglia norwich if that livery is produced. The mk2f looked stunning
