The Society on-line shop has now got listed a large range of number and name plates that can be ordered for immediate despatch.

More numbers and names are being added as soon as they are catalogued.

If the item you want is not listed it may still be available and an email to the shop will be responded to promptly.

Transfers will be next!

Thank you for the update! Pass along my thanks to your wife, from whom I received a lovely email this morning regarding a question I had, for all of the hard work she has done in cataloguing and posting these items online. I look forward to seeing what transfers are available (though I don't envy her the task of cataloguing them!)

With my thanks,
Philip

Hi Zoopadooper;
excuse my ignorance, but I can't find a list of numbers/nameplates in the Society shop webpage.
Could you include a link, please? The website still refers one to Dave B.
Will the list include (eventually?) the Modelmaster combined number and nameplate sets?
TIA
Martyn

Hopefully you have found the link now, from another response.  The problem we have in the short-trem is that the on-line shop is at ngsjoin.com, not ngaugesociety.com.

I assume that your secondary question refers to those locos that have nameplates plus transfer cab-side numbers.  The answer is, I don't know until teh transfers are sorted, but hopefully yes.

Thanks for the link and updates.

Zopadooper, yes, I was referring to the sets which consist of nameplates, smokebox number, coloured blanking patches, and nameplates in one packet.

I'm hoping that the 'Britannia' combined and LNER/ER B1 nameplates sets will be available eventually; they don't seem to appear yet. No worries, I can wait and wish you best in the huge job of sorting and listing everything as it comes available.

Thanks again

Martyn

Oooh, thanks for the heads-up on this - I took a peek and found the exact nameplate I had been trying to get under the previous regime and was repeatedly told they didn't have it! A few other things were added to the order as well, so the Society has got a bit of money out of me today...

If the item you want is not listed it may still be available and an email to the shop will be responded to promptly.

Transfers will be next!

The first batches of transfers are now online at ngsjoin.com

They can be ordered in the usual way but please note that in the short term they will be despatched from a different location to the main shop stock.
