I'm surprised the 'political police' haven't had that changed by now, no sense of history, just of so called 'political correctness'.

I saw 'The Dambusters' in the cinema on Thursday 17 May.  It was being shown across the country.  It was uncut.

This was the first time I have seen the film on the big screen and it was absolutely terrific.

I understand it is being re-released on DVD next month and that will be uncut as well.

The Table-Top Railway is a train set trying and failing to be a model railway.

I believe that train sets and model railways are fun.

Well getting back on subject,
Today if you wish go from Coningsby across to Scampton to visit the grave and you phone MT now for a vehicle. You are actually phoning Hertz or Avis or who ever has the contract at the time. Except for specialist vehicles, when you need a car be it for an officer trip or section transport. You'll get issued with something like a nissan micra in a civi colour unmarked and civilian plates.

but it will be cheap, and that's what matters to the politicians, after all they all travel in nissan micras don't they ? errrrrrrrrr ?

think how much money they could save if they did the same thing with all vehicles and equipment ....

" hello I need 3 SA80s and a LSW please "

"sorry all ours are out till wednesday, would you like them then ?"

Kinda like what they've done with the VC10 replacement, the Voyager. A fleet of fourteen A330 MRTT Voyagers are available to the RAF - 8 are MOD registered, 6 are civilian registered, all are owned by AirTanker Ltd. (http://www.airtanker.co.uk/) and leased to the RAF.

I think the thread may be going a shade off topic, from the grave of the dog who must not be named
to castigating politicians (tho Boris uses or used a bike ).  Not sure what an LSW is , sounds like
a railway grouping involving GWR, LMS and SR. I digress, now where can I hire  a cheap MiG 31 ?

LSW = Light Support Weapon - heavy barrel version of the SA80 - think modern bren gun, but 50 times the cost and not as good.
