The next batch of new planned items will be announced in a few days when Lyndon Davies can find a slot in his calendar, and I am back in the UK. :-)

The new items for the June - September catalogue will be announced on the evening of Friday 8 June 2018 on the members only Facebook group Oxford Diecast Collectors. There should be a corresponding trade announcement at the about the same time. Eloise Davies (MD) and Lyndon Davies will reveal what is planned.

So far this year Oxford have released as many N items as they have announced (12 released and 12 announced). At any one time there are between 40 and 50 items in the development pipeline with around half of them announced to the market. Planning for the 2020 release programme has already started.

THE Bristol MW6G is a useful addition but yet another luxury vehicle , we already have plenty of these to choose from . different things for different people  ,still nothing in the way of 'normal cars'
The New Routemaster in First West Yorkshire was a one off livery on one of the prototypes and the bus failed to  entre service

Jaguar Land Rover have a close relationship with Oxford Diecast and make licensing easy. The producers of the ordinary cars make it difficult to licence and want big money. They also prefer exclusive scale specific agreements, which cost the same for each scale, and make N scale volumes less able to bear the cost.

With the Facebook announcement last night were photos of the production versions of 14 unreleased items. They covered the 13 outstanding items from the 2017 announcements, plus the Burlingham Seagull coach (Stratford Blue) from the January 2018 announcements. These are due over the next 8 to 10 weeks, shipping permitting.

Please do not think I was complaining ,I am grateful for what ever Oxford give us. There is a good mix in the reliveries, I would have liked to see an other Imp there, but still think the New Routemaster's livery is an odd choice.
The Discovery though not to my taste is some thing that is needed by anyone
modelling in modern image. With the link to Jaguar Land Rover do I can only hope that the Mark 2 Jaguar is issued at some point in the future

I think that Oxford have missed out on making another all red Borismaster. The one they issued is sold out and not scheduled for re-release.

https://www.oxforddiecast.co.uk/collections/by-range?constraint=1-148+oxford-omnibus

Much as the varied one-off colour schemes might sell to collectors, for a layout a range of more common liveries works better. The green Borismaster is an ideal foil to the people who complain everything is focussed on London, ..or Southdown. But London and Southdown buses sell best, it seems.

Sadly even your fictitious livery was missing "Rail Replacement service" , as its destination...   :D :D :D

The Burlingham seagull is a welcome announcement. My family had some in the day, some will be on a tour of Tiree in the family colours.

The printed catalogue is now available to view and download from:-

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1017/3257/files/JUNE-SEPT_18.pdf?9600825157106359079

The N items are on pages 31-37 and page 43.
This is a large file.

Some of the other scales make for envious reading, and spontaneous wishlisting.
