I find this agreeably quick service is normal with Union Mills.  The 'Safe to Fly' sticker on the parcel is probably important in this regard - an airborne 'Collett Goods'!

I hope you enjoy the locomotive and look forward to hearing what you think of it.

Best wishes.

John

The Table-Top Railway is a train set trying and failing to be a model railway.

I believe that train sets and model railways are fun.

Had its run and going very nicely, gave it a good few wagons to haul,
no problem, third UM loco I've bought and always consistent in their
reliability.  3 first class airmail for such a heavy little item seems a
real bargain. Just hope I don't become a UM addict ! The basic detailing
doesn't bother me, I know some people like to add fine details etc. ,
but I'm happy with them out of the box.

Just to add that Track Shack, also in the Isle of Man, get things to me next day as well.
The same cannot be applied to mainland retailers, sadly.

I know what you mean broadsword.  My 2 Prince of Wales came very quickly.  Don't worry about being a UM addict.  Buy whatever fits what you want - I do, and others besides.

Me too.  I have to admit to two 'Prince of Wales' locomotives as well: one in LNWR 'blackberry black' and one in LMS crimson lake.  Both are gorgeous.  Whatever one I'm looking at is my favourite engine.  I'd gladly buy a third... and a fourth!

Best wishes.

John
