Train Tech sound modules - has anyone tried them?
« on: October 23, 2017, 03:19:23 pm »
Has anyone tried a Train Tech sound module in an N Gauge wagon or coach? Although they are mainly designed for 00 they can be fitted into N gauge rolling stock.

The idea appeals to me because I haven't got the funds to go for digital sound and my home layout is analogue. I'm also not very good when it comes to electrics. I have a handful of DCC fitted locos that run on our club layout.

Before I take the chance of buying a module, I need to find out if the sound is loud enough because even spending 45 needs to be carefully considered.

Could be wrong but, I recall seeing another thread on this topic. Might be worth having a search.
 :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!
