I wish to say a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone on the forum.  I hope that you can all have a great day tomorrow whether with family, or sadly if you are on your own. 

Thanks for another great 12 months on here.  I always feel privileged to have you all on here and love to see all of your projects.  Special thanks to the moderating team for their efforts in keeping this place a happy one - or as close as we can get with so many opinions on everything!   

I look forward to seeing what Father Christmas brings some of you.  I'm sure that many of us will be jealous!    I won't be getting any N gauge myself, but I know I should be getting some CD's.....but I see Christmas as a day for my 2 boys.  As long as I get my Christmas dinner then I'll be happy!

I wouldn't show that much enthusiasm at what is now 10.15 AM on a Christmas morning though. You'll be commandeered into dog walking, spud peeling, sprout err whatevering before you know it. Feign illness (even if self inflicted) and promise to wash up later, then break a nice glass, get out of it and possibly apologise for the next few weeks. Simples.

Thanks Weave, none of that here! Prawns, champagne and cheese plates this morning followed by lunch with cold meats.

And it's only 20 degrees, which is nice after yesterday's 40!
