Britainís Scenic Railways, By Julian Holland & David Spaven

Book Review: If youíre looking for some scenery inspiration for a new layout then the images in this book are fantastic. It also shows route maps, elevation and a brief history of each route/location too.

Well worth a look (even just for the pictures). Better still, I found it in my local library so didnít cost me a thing. Only downside of course is that I have to give it back at some point.

Paul

Is that the same Julian Holland that used to be on the NGS committee?
Cheers MIKE

No.  Julian (of ex-N Gauge Society) moved to Scotland and, sadly, I believe died in a motor accident.  Also he was a lot older than the Julian Holland who's writes Railway books.
