Wandered down to the local bookshop (newsagents), picked up this month's N gauge magazine... (other scales also available, but N is the only one with dedicated publications).

Spent a bit of time cleaning up and close-coupling a recently acquired 2nd hand Kato EMU which was produced in the late 1990s, was mildly amused to see it the mouldings bear the original pre-historical 3-digit Kato catalogue numbers, but it looks fine to me and runs as one expects from Kato, though I did order some modern replacement wheelsets via the local electronics retailer as they sell hobby stuff including N gauge and I needed to order something electrical and noticed I had enough points left from a previous domestic electrical purchase that the whole order was effectively free... Such is life...

Bit of a long winded title on that magazine, Squiddy. ;)
