Nice pics there.

Am I right in thinking the Blue Artic car is one of the ex-German 2-section artics that had a low-floor centre section added, and the green Artic is the new-build ?Bombardier? cars (or is it the other way round)??

Hi Paul - sorry but my knowledge of trams could be written on one of my 2 brain cells, so I haven't a clue.
I just know there are several tram fans on the forum and I couldn't come back without some pics.
I'm sure someone will know the answers

Nice pictures!  I have only been on the trams in Krakow once - but have travelled quite a bit on the trams in Warsaw and Poznan, and may have to dig some pictures out of those if you would like?

Hi Paul - I know next to nothing about trams except I like them and there are other tram fans on the forum, so dig those pics out and share them with us.
Trams are far safer than other vehicles in that they travel recognisable paths and, unlike electric bl**dy cars, you're not likely to be mown down by one 'cos you can't hear it! :o

I also don't know much about trams - but I love travelling on them in Poland; they are cheap to travel on, and reliable! And, as you correctly say, you can hear them coming (although that doesn't seem to stop Polish drivers trying to stop in front of them - I have been on a tram when it has to do an emergency stop because someone is trying to get across the road before the tram comes along!  ??? )

Here are some from Poznan - the first three are from the window of the hotel I was staying in; you didn't sleep in much here...  :o )

This one is at a terminus outside the city

I am still trying to find some from Warsaw...

Hi Paul,
Yeah - I took 4 of the 5 shots from my hotel window and sleep didn't come easy!
