As promised in Mike's topic, here is my "hello, checking back in" post.

Since closing the door on my railway room back in early spring I have not had anything Ngauging to say !
But a couple of weeks ago, the garden now mostly looking after itself and with the prospect of autumn and winter nights in the offing, I went in   for a play  to test it to see if it all still worked.

It did, sort of ! but soon the second of my three Bacfar ex-set controllers gave up the ghost in spectacular fashion :( I know they are supposed to be good reliable controllers by all accounts, I must be the exception to that rule !

I will post in Ndiscussion or Electronics or somewhere, soon, about how I recovered the situation by making one good controller out of two.

ozzie Bill.

welcome back and I am looking forward to hearing more from you. Cheers, Bill

Good to see you back (he said with a grin)...
"When in trouble, when in doubt, run (trains) in circles..." etc.
There, doesn't that feel better?
Lovely!

I may appear to be listening to you, but inside my head, I'm playing with my trains.

Like many things, lack of use can alter functionality.
I'm thinking brain cells, you mucky people
