Hello all,

Mike and I spent much of this weekend picking and packing several hundred of the 40'hi-cube containers we have produced in association with C-Rail Intermodal.

Everyone who ordered (in the UK at least!) should receive theirs by the end of the week - all overseas orders are being dispatched too but may take a little longer to arrive.

Thanks again to all who supported this project and made it happen!  These represent the world's most numerous container type, so are another important missing link in N!

Cheers

Ben A.

Awesome. I still can't remember how many I ordered, so it'll be like Christmas. But more boxy.

That image looks like a serious train crash occurred  :D

They look very good tho, I wish I'd had the funds to order some.  :(

Happy to be wrong, but I think these are going into C-Rail's normal stock, so you still can.

red_death

Correct - both C Rail and we have some stock still for orders.  We will also have whatever stock we've got left on sale at Warley.

Cheers, Mike

Smiffy

The ones I ordered from C=Rail, as with everything from Arran, arrived very quickly.

Really nice containers, but you already knew that.

The bases can be gently removed if a bit more weight is required.

Many thanks to C=Rail and RevolutioN

Just received my 8, they look superb, the 'stepped' effect you get, as visible on the KFA (I assume - hiding in plain sight ;-) ) above, looks so much better than the uniform height on containers otherwise!

Given the quality of these containers, mine turned up today, I reckon at Warley you should stick a 50p premium on the price so you've got a little more cash for other projects.

That of course assumes that you've got any left in 3 weeks time (says he who's thinking he might just order a few more).

No seriously thanks for a great product, they make my home produced ones look rather poor even though I'm using the right colours and transfers.

I would definitely up your prices for people buying "from stock" quite honestly! I guess it depends what price Arran's selling them for.

Evening all.

My 8 arrived today. Really wasn't expecting them so it was a nice surprise. They are lovely models and I'm hoping they don't sell out before I have the funds available

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words.

One of the reasons for doing these (apart from that they hadn't been done before) was that on other containers I have found getting decals to settle into the ribs on containers is really tricky.

The ones I found the hardest were the UBC/IBC/IFF decals used on the red and blue 30' bulk containers.  I think it is because the decals - which are yellow or white - have to be thicker than normal to ensure they are opaque.  A shame, as these are useful containers and excellent kits.

Hi, Mine landed today and a brilliant 8 Hanjin.Evergeen and Maersk now on the shelf - just a quick wash over with a dirty rust mix to pick out corners.

Thanks to all concerned a lovely model
