Triple DVD set entitled Britain's Railways Then and Now    £4.99
DVD1     GWR
DVD2     LMS
DVD3     BR

Don't know what they are like yet - allegedly covers from the 1950's to end of the century.

Something else to watch if you can't work on the layout or just want to chill in front of the TV with a beverage of some sort. :beers:

i got this set a while ago

they are not the best dvd's in the world but there is alot of interesting snippets in amongst the programmes

well worth the £4.99 price tag but i personally pay any more (just my view)

just as oldman says they are ideal when there is nowt ont gogglebox

I agree with Dave,

I got the box set about a year ago and found it quite disappointing. The 'Then' bit is good, but unless you like looking at car parks/shopping centres, the 'Now' bit is very uninteresting, apart from making you feel like throwing a brick through the telly :(
