Tim, I fell into that trap but having double checked earlier info I changed my order to No 1. Cheers john.

I've got the original LMS livery on order, mainly as this one is preserved in that livery.

My housemate Joe (JC92 on here) has ordered two of them, blue grey one and the lms with yellow ends i believe.

I'm still planning to take a hacksaw to one and redo it as 45020, the one that EWS refurbished with modern windows and B4 bogies. Unlike the other EWS one it looks superb.

I have absolutely no idea what an Inspection Saloon is, so no, I didn't order one  :smiley-laughing:

Here is the latest from the NGS:-

The NGS has seen the first two engineering prototype models of its forthcoming LMS 50' Inspection Saloon.

There are two models - one depicting the vehicles in "as built" condition with the cab front vent, the other incorporating BR modifications such as the roof air horns and underfloor LPG tank.

As well as the host of detail differences, the models feature NEM couplers in expanding close-coupler pockets, fine flushglazing and detailed interiors.

They will be produced in original LMS livery, BR Carmine and cream, BR Maroon, BR Blue-Grey, LMS maroon with full yellow ends and EWS Maroon/buff.

These models are on schedule for release at the Warley 2012 National Model railway show and are selling fast - reserve yours now!

what do you think about people who order all these ngs models just to sell them on ebay???? maybe ngs should limit orders to say 2 of each model?

i've ordered a blue/grey saloon (for my own layout...)

Gotta say they are looking fantastic! Can't wait how ever many months it is to get mine :D

As for Ebay, it's the bidders who are the idiots. Most of the time they go for more than the cost of the model plus membership!
