This gets unreal !!!!    Feb/Mar 2018      I pre ordered mine at Hattons on 17.11.2011   That makes it almost 6 years to now and however much longer still to go ???????
At this rate the prototypes will be withdrawn before the model arrives ( If it ever does ! )

What on earth is Dapol's problem?  Anybody got a clue ?

Bret

Thats not good, Arriva Trains Wales won't exist by the time they come out (that's the one i ordered). Been looking forward to getting them, shame about another delay.

I just wish they would be more transparent with the whole process.  I'm sure that Dapol are wanting to get this one right but it would be nice to have an idea when it will be on the shelves.  I think that they need to take a leaf out of revolutions book and they already have the perfect place to keep us up to date the Dapol digest but seem to choose not to use it.

Email from Hatton's today - HST in GWR green "will arrive with us between January 2018 & March 2018". :smiley-laughing: Perhaps it's time Dapol threads were moved to the 'Jokes' sub-board.

Wonder what the longest gestation period has been for a RTR model from announcement to delivery? Kernow's D600 Warship in 4mm has been about ten years, so the Pacer has a little way to go yet  :)

Dapol's Pacer was first listed in the 2010 catalogue. I'd happily wait another two years if it ment it looked as good as the Kernow D600.
