Talking to a friend recently and he mentioned Robin Trower who I knew about way back in the 70's but had sold my entire record collection some years ago so went out and bought what I believe is his latest and the second I put it on I wondered why I had forgotten also just got a live album Across the States which is currently in the post this is good stuff

I used to have the 'Bridge of Sighs' album many years ago but sold it on. Trower is very, very good.
Have you heard any Jeff Healey? Amazing guitarist, blind since he was 3 I believe. I saw him at Nottingham when his first album came out.......

Malc

A big fan of Jeff, a sad loss when he died. Never saw him live, but this is one of my favourite tracks.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Seems my words never came out but I would just like to thank Newportnobby and Malc   for getting me into Jeff Healey so much so that I have ordered a cd along with another Robin Trower one annoyingly it seems like Bridge of sighs hasn't been released on cd  and as I no longer have a turntable I'll just have to go without

Mind you I prefer to listen to live music anyway you can't beat a good concert or 2

Thanks Malc,

I'll have a look for it later on cd and dvd that's interesting especially as I got me a "new" stacking hi fi system with full 5.1 surround sound and the cd player plays dvd's although I may have to wait for the wife to go out he he

Best wishes

Clinic, "Walking With Thee" album. Mildly unsettling, alternative, off-kilter. Get those surgical masks on.

Not often I enjoy cover versions but here are 2 of the better ones, methinks.
