Milk Floats
« on: August 28, 2017, 08:24:57 pm »
Hi everyone.
This is my first post!
Does anyone know of a good quality N gauge milk float? Oxford Diecast produce a very nice looking OO one, but haven't responded to my occasional request for one in 2mm. I'm surprised they haven't done one - they were pretty ubiquitous when I was growing up in the 50s & 60s.

Osborns do a variety in N. Here's one example:

Search for 'milk float' to find them all. :beers:

This is a test model, to check sizes, that N-Train is working on. It was also trying out a new Shapeways material which I will not be using. Not worked out price yet, but will be available in a few weeks time.

Might be worth checking the Shapeways site as they were knocking them out, along with milk crates - see 2nd page of this thread..............
