It's time to drop a line to my Japanese supplier.  Not sure what I'll do with 10 carriages but still.
Juggle with them?

It may come to that. Or I could order 2 pieces of track to cover the 1.5m.
It would be nice to know that the piano is tuned to A=440 as well.

Nice if I could find a supplier who took bitcoin. I thought the Japanese were hot on this.

I just arrived back at Chez Bealman from Sydney airport after putting a Bealette on a plane to Japan, where she will be working for a year.

A visit from mum and dad is on the cards for next year, so I'll keep that train in mind!

Not really, one hears the term bandied about a lot but in real life I've never encountered a situation where it's been offered as a payment option (not that I'd have any use for it).

Well ok. I read a report that Japan has now made it an acceptable legal form of payment which won't mean it's caught on everywhere yet. The flutter we put on it a few years ago has increased in value by about 15 times and nice if we could "spend" some.

It's a sort of virtual currency I think, don't know how it works or
how it can increase in value,  will steer clear of it, could be an
opportunity for all sorts of rogues !

There was some kind of regulation brought in following the "Mt Gox" incident, but in the real world it is not something one comes across. Why not convert it into a normal currency and spend that?
