We appear to have gone seriously  :offtopicsign: !

As I'm the one who started this particular hare I can only apologise. I shall go off to a quiet corner do penance...

I think he is like a Roger Whittaker type performer?

I think you're whistling in the dark there.

Strange... Click the link 'The Birds (Band)' to the right of the light bulb on the page the link above takes you too - that'll take you to the correct page. For some reason pasting the link into here doesn't work...

Well I had a little time this week to do some modelling, the fist thing I achieved with the help of the Domestic Overlord was to get the layout back up so I could do some serious modelling (well playing trains).

I also had a little time to review the current state of my workbench and the current works schedule, and I have come up with a few changes.

1 The Caprotti 5 will be shelved for a while (I may other ideas for the chassis)
2 The Stannier Mogul will continue through the works.
3 The Black 5 with the self weighing tender will still continue through the works
4 The Stannier and Fowler tanks just need a little work on the lining to complete and the a spot of weathering etc   (I need to sort out the trailing trucks)

So all very sensible, very logical, so what did I do to celebrate this brilliant thinking, yes I took on a couple more projects. I have another Jubilee that needs its identity allocating to it (any suggestions would be welcome), and I relatively new Evilbay bargain purchase is currently going through the paint shop to produce a 6 coach surburban rake. Oh and another Royal Scot has been added to the fleet..........

WHAT HAVE I DONE

Your reasoning sounds entirely logical Paul!  :smiley-laughing:

Re the Jubilee: You could always donate it to DorsetMike to turn into a proper locomotive!  :P :P :P

Is the Royal Scot in original or rebuild form?

And to save you money on postage you can keep the tender(s) :P
Cheers MIKE
