I like 👍 it A LOT...
Well done to all involved.. Brilliant.
 :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

The new website looks very good - well done and many thanks to all involved. Two minor questions/queries:

1. Can the picture on the home-page be a random image from a collection of pictures? There are plenty of fantastic N Gauge models that could feature - and needn't all be layouts; A close up of a nice bit of rolling stock would be equally welcome. A wide variety of models including European mainland and North American would help to show that the NGS isn't just for modellers of BR.

2. Will the galleries of AMMC entries be re-instated? It would be nice to see all the entries pictured larger than they are in the Journal.

Happy modelling.

Steven B.

Nope, I have taken a step away I have too much to do relating to real world work and keeping the NGF working, I'm sure they will find someone else who can code in PHP for free within their membership somewhere .... :D

Loving the new look, well done! So much more visual impact than the rather text heavy previous incarnation, tho I do appreciate it being produced by volunteers.

I too can't get the links on the top row to work. Just home, shop and area groups.

I've just browsed over to the N Gauge Society website and it has a shiny new look. Trouble is, it got me so distracted that I can't remember what I went for. :D

I still can't remember why I originally visited the NGS website last Tuesday. ??? But today, I'm visiting the NGS shop and have done so by starting at the main-site and clicking through to the shop. IN ONE CLICK. So simple, the way it always should have been. It was such a dizzy route to navigate previously that I had to bookmark it. Now I can delete that bookmark - and with the amount I have, one less makes a very real and positive difference.

My previous thanks was before I knew how I'd be affected by the makeover, and now I do know that thanks seems inadequate. So a big THANK YOU to @Only Me

Does anyone know what happened to the article about split gears which was on the NGS website? It shows up in Google under the previous link, but this just gets redirected to the top page of the new site which doesn't seem to have it anywhere.

It also occurred to me I have a hard-copy backup in the form of the NGS handbook (section 10.16)
