Apparently this is a sausage train going backwards and forwards in the window of a butcher's shop in Sheringham, posted in twitter by "Trundle".

To spare Nobby, jokes already posted on twitter include:

That's a model class 153. Definitely a bit of an old banger, and some would argue they are the wurst trains on the network.

(My favourite) Needs a gravy train as well....

Wouldn't want to come across a full scale one of those on a dark night!!!
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

I just don't know what I've done to deserve such a reputation

Don't mince your words - and stop telling porkies.  ;)

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

It'll remain the wurst train service in Sheringham until it has links to other services.

He is bidding to supply channel 4 with a Haggis express. :)

I can't believe that no-one's mentioned it's on a steak wagon.

If you ask me its just offal.

Sprintex

Clever ploy actually :)

Kids keep pestering mum and dad to "see the train", and the more they keep going past, the more likelihood of going in and buying something ;)

Paul

daffy

Clever ploy indeed, but it can have its down side...

"Thomas! Your Brio trains DO NOT need decorating with food like that!"

"But Mummy, the man in the shop has a sausage on his and Daddy said that's really clever."

"Yes but....."

"But what Mummy?"

- and so parental control continues its downward slide towards puberty.

If that derails it'll be a pig to clear up.

Bealman

I just hope it's not N gauge, 'cos if it is, that is one small snag! Oh, sorry - Aussie slang for sausage.

You've got more chance of seeing the model railway working there, than finding the model railway shop down the same road open.
