Here's a direct link.   (If you use the link that starts https then it is only a link, use the one that has http (no s) and post the link on the page without any tags it will display as below.)   ;)

I do like those Kato girder brides you have connected at the back, I think any loco going across such an expanse looks brilliant

The sound is very good from your SP PA-1  ;)

What are you going to pull the Orient Express cars with?  They look very tempting sitting there  :thankyousign:

Thank you for taking the time to shoot and post your video  :NGaugersRule:

cheers John.

Terrible videos i know, but you was after sound not landscapes. anyway i must say that in real life it sounds much better than on the phone video and there are 26 different sounds of which i have not worked them all out as yet but i hope this helps. My layout is in the early stages so have not got around to any modelling apart from an undercoat on the bridge which need another coat the weathering and some rust....fineboy

Thank you,
when i started this layout my son was still living with me so really pushed for space(1 parent child, father only) so i started my layout in my shed which i converted into another small room. But he is now preparing for university so i will be taking his bedroom lol for a full sized layout of 5 metres long x 4 metres wide L shaped layout, the orient express is actually 15 cars in length so cannot use on this small layout at present, but when i start the new layout after Christmas i was thinking of pulling the express with a kato fef-3 which i have ordered from keith at traintrax. Fineboy

No need to apologise and the link is working fine now

I do like the way you have your track laid out so the one loco can cover all of it.

The sounds from your loco are very good and can imagine they will add to the fun of running trains  ;)

Thanks again for making your videos  :greatwork:

cheers John.

Thank you, they were a pain to light.
I wish kato would have plug in type lights. what I am going to do is solder the lights so they do not flicker as much.
I think your the guy who bought my double crossover off ebay? railway gun sound familiar.

Yes - a happy eBay customer.

2 crossovers and. Double loop make for varied running.

I don't dare add lights - will stick with the 2 lit carriages in my set ( and a Brighton Belle)

The lights do make the difference, and I have found a way of making the kato lights even better by hard wiring them but each coach is still  separate, I just wish kato would do the dapol type of light which is plug in.
So you have a set of orient express as you mention the 2 lit coaches? fineboy

Have been thinking about using a Shottky rectifier bridge and small capacitor to make a small circuit that will sit in the coach and provide bi directional flicker free lighting.  The good thing with the Shottky diodes is you can get them that onlt drop about 0.45v as opposed to regular diodes which can drop as much as 1.1v.
Just another project to add to the list should I ever get out to the shed again  ???
