Ok, was just listening to Hammerfall, impressive, have not come across them before, cheers for that!!!

Just returning to my searching for the tracks for a 'covers' CD pack I am putting together, lots of stuff such as Trivium, Korn, Slayer, Metallica, Apocalyptica, Pantera, Sepultura etc. For those who do not recognise any of these, they are all heavy metal bands!

Hi Marty,

Moved on to "Nicely out of tune" now. Lady Eleanor still sounds great.

This is a reformed Lindisfarne, but not bad

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Tut Tut, Dave. You've been missing out for too long.
I'd recommend their greatest hits album "Lindisfarne's Finest Hour"
My favourites are 'January Song' and 'Clear White Light' :music:

Some of the newer stuff is great too, a bit more bluesy - things like This Guitar Never Lies

Plus the other great classics - Run for home, Lady Eleanor, We Can All Swing Together (and their superb version of Meet Me On The Corner)

Thanks for the direction lads I will chase up the songs you have listed, as for the bluesy newer stuff being a John Mayall fanatic it sounds great.
