Hi all, it's my wedding anniversary today and for the first time I did what I was told and not buy any gifts etc( mainly as we off for weekend away/wedding which probably has drained the funds).
So I did as I was told and not buy her a gift but who said Others cant buy me a gift to celebrate how good I have been. A nice siphon g and some dapol milk tankers arrived today from my good uncle HATTONS
Cheers

er . . .  would that be your Uncle Gordon Osborne, the UK Chancellor ? If so then, if you could persuade him to have zero VAT on anything N gauge and also banish customs charges for anything N gauge then that would be great

Belated congratulations Bart on your wedding anniversary yesterday :claphappy:
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Yeh she is a keeper. She lets me indulge in my hobbies, and I have a few I must admit but as a good hubby I spoil her rotten and make time for her. She does a good job at keeping zac, Mitch, lily and me all in line especially since I'm away with work four days at a time.
And to top it off she's bought me some rolling stock for Easter as I don't eat chocolate, now that's sweet!

OMG ... you believed her when she said that ???  Well, that's definite proof you've not been married long !

Congrats on 15 (I'm going on 23 next month - and will be buying SWMBO something even though she says not to - I ain't daft :-X)

Being married is a great life. Congratulations on 15 years.
We are into 39 years this year and still together but never celebrate our anniversary with more than a card and a hug.

You've been married 15 years and you haven't worked out when 'Don't' means 'DO' yet ? Oh dear.   :hmmm:

Me thinks you need to get down to the shops PDQ if you want to maintain domestic harmony, particularly if/when she finds out you've been spending money on yourself but haven't bought anything for her.  :-*  :bounce:
