Looks magnificent George. I'm looking forward to getting Sir Nigel Gresley for my Christmas pressie, but I don't want to see him in stockings.  :D

Merry Xmas.

Happy Christmas all. Well I was very lucky this week my wife toke me on a surprise 4 day break to Berlin for my 30th Birthday.

Amazing city full of history and so much todo, on my last day I found a model shop of a side street and wow how good was it. Full of all gauge locos, rolling stock, buildings, trees you name it they had it 80% was second hand and the rest new.

They had draws that you pull out to view all the second hand goods I was in heaven
this is a link to there website http://www.michas-bahnhof.de

I found a couple of nice bits but as most rolling stock was german I thought it may look a little out of place on my layout.

I paid â,¬24 for both of these.

First was a steel wagon.

And the second was a power supply wagon.

With my class 73's in BR Blue

Never been into Micha's but I've ordered stuff online from them a couple of times - very good service.

Latest purchase just before Christmas, and the last one I shall make (honest) until the Everest Roofline soffits/fascias/gutters are installed last week in January.

Dapol Class 52 Western Sovereign shown here beside the basics of the Marsh Wharf on my layout under construction - just made enough to know the width so ballasting can begin.

Very classy runner as others have said. My smallest radii are 10.5" on Peco 55 and it rounds these without even thinking about it even barely crawling along - not a hint of hesitation. Can be heard when going fast - but best almost silent at sane speeds.
