Thanks for posting these.

I can only claim to have visited two of these, Pecorama and Pendon, but can highly recommend both.

Pendon (while EM gauge and GWR  ), is a stunning bit of modelling some of which dates back to a time where pretty much everything had to be made by hand (although kit built locos and stock run on the layouts as well nowadays).

I'd love to visit Gainsborough which is a huge O gauge layout based on the ECML between Kings X and Leeds and has locomotives and stock from between 1920s and 1960s running on it. Another layout largely built before the level of support from the trade reached the level we see today. I've been told that quite a bit of the original rolling stock is built out of cardboard!

RH&DR has a model museum with working HO layout at New Romney.   Not a large musuem but worth a look if you're going for a ride on the railway anyway.

The layout's been going a long time, I remember running it back in the early 80s,  mostly Fleischmann equipment with banks of relays in the room at the back!

I still have vague memories from the 60s of the O gauge layout which preceded it.

Personally I wouldn't Just make the trip to Hoveton just for "Wroxham Miniature Worlds", unless you were in the area already. However it is just across the road from the Wroxham and Hoveton railway station, and a huge hundred Yards  from the "Bure Valley Railway" station. Combined it is worth the trip.
At the Bure Valley railway in Hoveton they have a large secondhand book shop, and at the other end of the line in Aylsham a model shop inside the Station.
I believe the Wroxham Miniature worlds now has a model shop in it But I haven't been in to check.

To make it really worth while coming Visit on 7th October 2017, then the Broadland Model railway club have their annual exhibition in Aylsham a few hundred yards from the Bure Valley railway, and you can get a combined ticket and show entry ticket.
