Jury-rigged an electric supply to my layout which is in preliminaries of track laying. Ran all the locos I'd been given as presents over the past year including 8F, 3F, and Peak. Inspired me to press on with next stages!

After a stressful day of Copydex and Setrack my layout is now at initial operating capability, and trains have been run! Permanent electric feeds bonded to each circuit  and Morley controller installed. Just dying to get going and ballast now: can't be bothered bonding each fishplate!!

£144 tax rebate arrived today. Very happy chappie.

After 6 months negotiations, finally managed to get a price increase to stick with my biggest customer. Phew - that was the longest ever :o

Mustermark

Congratulations. That's a long negotiation.

Though the mind boggles about your 'biggest customer' for lubricant and rubber goods. :-X

My latest iPhone game just hit #1 in Italy's free Racing games and free sports games chart and it got a great review in the Sunday Times this week. Just got back from the NEC where we were demoing it with Caterham Cars at the Autosport show :)

Nice!  Every bit of your post is far too cool to get a response other than the ENVY smilie (if there was one). 8)

I had a Nokia N8 sent to me but I gave it away, crikey all I wanted was a phone so I use my old Nokia 6230, I have computers and cameras coming out of my ears so I didn't require a Smart Phone. ;D ;D

It's only on iPhone/iPod/iPad for the moment. We're looking into options for Android for later in the year.

Been working with Andy & James at Caterham UK mostly, but met Ansar for the first time when Caterham took everyone out for a curry on the Thursday night. Excellent host and a great night out.

Only ever met Ansar last year at ASI where I walked up to him, intro'd myself and got straight on with finding out whos the tech buyer.

Dont suppose you were why the tech dept was such a pain to get hold of in q3 of last year ?

Cheers

This amused me anyway - reading up on some LNER coaching stock looking at kit possibilities I was delighted to discover that in 1934 the LNER built some tourist excursion stock for the North East. It differed from that used elsewhere in that it had four seats less in order to provide extra beer storage...

Some things don't change.
