For those not following the message boards on MRH, they've announced a change coming in November.  Apparently the advertiser revenue is dropping and the donation model was not working for them, so they've decided to go to a 2-tier model.  The first tier will be the "most popular" sections (approximately 150 pages) and will still be free; the second tier will be paid subscription (USD20 per year or thereabouts) and will get you another 150 pages.  Much discussion on their board at http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/34237 and in the "Publisher's Musings" of this issue.
