Do any Japanese companies do N gauge catalogues in English?
Presumably Kato does for the North American market, but otherwise no.

The Tomix catalogue does for the most part have the individual product names in English, OTOH it is actually the "Tomix Guide" because apparently they were criticized a few years ago when it was still titled "catalogue" for including stuff which is out-of-production.

I did buy the Dapol and Farish catalogues when I first got into N gauge a few years back, as it's nice to have an easily browseable overview of each company's product line, but have not felt tempted to acquire updates.

Thanks for all the replies.

I like books so always like a physical copy of things, I like getting post. I'm a bit old fashioned like that. Odd for a guy that runs a tech company, but thats me!

I'll join the Bachmann club at least.

Are you thinking of "Ramsey's British Model Trains"?

Here is a link to a VERY expensive listing, (I know I paid nowt like this) -

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ramsays-British-Model-Train-Catalogue/dp/1907292667

Or even "Britains Model Trains" -

David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Britain's model trains is the one. Quite a good read however the copy i have was out of date when I got it as the likes of the voyager, class 90 and class 91 were still listed. Still nice to see what is and should be out there even if it means trawling eBay and second hand dealers.
