Tarpaulins (Sheets)
« on: February 14, 2018, 08:31:39 pm »
I'd like to have a few sheeted wagons/loads on my railway, and have bought some paper ones to make a start.  I'm looking for some illustrations of how they were fixed to the wagons.  I have only 1 useful illustration (in 1 of David Larkin's many books), and that shows rings on the planking of the wagon & eyelets in tags about a foot from the edge of the sheet.  Can anyone suggest (a) suitable website(s) that might show other fixing methods, please?
