Zimo Sound decoder CV29 setting
« on: February 11, 2018, 10:03:21 am »
Hi all

Just received my Zimo Sound decoder back from my supplier (Youchoos) after a reblow and after fitting to it's loco, a Farish Fairburn Tank and because both wires to the motor are black it obviously ended up running the wrong way to the controllers setting,so just needed CV29 changed to in my case 07, but before I reprogrammed it I read what CV29 was currently set to, expecting to see 6 but found it was programmed to 14, I reprogrammed it to 7 and it now runs as it should, but I can't find what 14 does, it's not mentioned in any list I have found.

What does setting CV29 to 14 do.

Thanks

Paul

Railcom , 28/128 speed steps and DC running all switched on =14
If you want Railcom write a value of 15, to run in reverse. if you don't want Railcom write a value of 7

There's a CV29 calculator here which also allows you to back calculate the settings for any value

Thanks for the replies and explanation and link to that calculator

I was using the Digitrax calculator which made no mention of railcom
