I'll give another thumbs up for the Xuron track snips. One of the most handiest tools i have as i also use them for snipping and trimming back wire. So i'd fully recommend a set

I've got two pairs. Eventually you discover they are great for cutting all sorts of other stuff and then you discover that some things are a bit too strong. So you end up with a slightly knackered pair for abuse and a nice pair for track.
