Chetcombe

Mrs Chetcombe is a huge fan and is 'treating' me with a trip to the Imax at our local Science Museum (The Benjamin Franklin Institute) on Sunday evening. Based on the last full length movie I saw there, I fear the visual experience may be somewhat overwhelming... So am wondering whether I should take some aspirin ahead of the show or wait until I actually get a headache  :sick2:

i've booked seats at the Science Museum IMAX for the 27th (2nd / largest screen in UK) so am avoiding spoilers!!
You can't book specific seats, it is first come first served

Interesting - they offer a seat plan and numbered seats this time!

Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;

Must have changed since The Force Awakens was screened, complete free for all
I was the first person to arrive (final day Ticket 01) and then ended up in about the middle of the queue!

As for the film screening, it is the 2D 70mm version
Not many cinemas in the UK are showing this version

I wasn't impressed with the Force Awakens at the Science Museum, the bottom of the IMAX screening wasn't visible!
Equally, the IMAX footage in the film was very short
On the plus side there is much more in The Last Jedi
