Reminds me of the hoary old joke where a copper says to a passer by "I am looking for a small boy with one eye" to which the passer by replied "If he's that small you'd better use both eyes".

Sorry to hear of your problem, Caz, and as John says - hope your brain just filters it out

Jerry Howlett

Sorry to hear of your problem Caz, however it just shows US ALL the kind of positive nature that you have, by posting it on the happy thread.

Best wishes for the new Year,  Jerry

PS   NOBBY, THAT WAS A TERRIBLE JOKE!!!!!!!
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Must have been a boring place !

If that was in 1901, can you imagine what a deprived place it must have been in 1900?

Nice shot, George.

A tad more colourful than 'our' woodpecker who was back drilling holes in the grass earlier this week.

Getting grubs I suppose as I didn't see him taking any worms.

Oh that's right.. that was your post, Dave.I'm surprised it's finding anything over there at the moment! Believe it or not, I've come down with a cold in the Aussie summer! Still, this is the happy thread!

Ello all....

Been a busy festive period for the Skyline household, but I thought I would show you one of the presents (in this case a joint one) received on the big day....

Was not a surprise as we had to que up for 3 hours to get our "paws" on this chap, we were still glad to un-wrap him  :D

P.S. Got back today from a trip up North, including York and my first ever trip to the NRM, photos to follow elsewhere.
