Thanks to DavieB and Sprintex, I have won 3 x Freightliner Farish 373-451 in 2 bids in the last 3 days on Fleabay. Thanks very much, chaps
Only 2 more needed now :D

Sprintex

Excellent, glad you got them  :beers:

Aha, so now I know who one of my bidding competitors could be in the near future. I didn't bid on the latest 2 though as I couldn't get ebay to work earlier and I wouldn't have gone that high anyway so fair play mate.

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

The 3 x 20ft containers come up every now and then, but I have never seen any of the 2 x 30ft for sale.
If I hadn't seen pics of them I would say they are a myth

Trainfish

Do you mean the 2x 30ft grey with a red line similar to those you won or the white ones with a red diagonal?

It's only the original grey with red line that I am collecting a rake of

Trainfish

I'm sure Lima used to do those 30' containers (definitely in OO) but are you saying Farish did a 2x 30' too? I have so many containers in the loft all boxed up it would take an age to see if I had any just to make you drool  :P
It is a job I need to do soon when I'm properly back on my feet though.

My mistake, Trainfish :-[

I have just checked the Farish list and they didn't do any 30ft red & grey containers.

Probably why I can't find any :-X

I'm going to Amsterdam tomorrow for a week to a conference and I've not been on a plane in 10 years! I am pretty excited!

Hope you have been enjoying Amsterdam. One of my favourite cities. Hope the plane ride was good too.

That would be the reason then. They do the red and white in 2x 30' though. Well overpriced as usual from this seller. Maybe you could do a cut 'n' shut with 2 20' containers to make a 30'  ;)
