In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

The difference on the fibre stuff is that the bit slowing you down is the copper from your house to the box, not the distance to the exchange. So assuming they are doing the normal fibre to box setup (which is what they're advertising by the sounds of it) you should get decent speed unless there's really dodgy cable or distance to the nearest box. So far I've had reasonable speeds in peak hours too and in a town that's only just got fibre you shouldn't have too much contention until BT up the speed to 300mb in 2015 :)

If you're signing up for the 80mb service, make sure you get the full unlimited one.

Only downside of BT fibre is BT unfortunately. Terrible company, but they've got the monopoly so not a lot you can do.

We had a terrible internet connection up until last year.  I was paying for broadband, but was getting less than 1mb, with it disconnecting constantly.  It was very frustrating!  I waited for BT Infinity to come out and got it last year, and am now getting regular speeds of around 35-40mbps.

I dont mind what speed we end up with as long as we get a speed than  this rubbish.........and the price?
 I`ll just up my sons share of the costs to cover it all

.................... found someone selling NINE Farish PGA hoppers in the livery I've been slowly collecting a rake of for the past year - 50 quid and free postage!  :P

Needless to say I couldn't press the buttons on my Blackberry quick enough ;D That's another rake of stock now completed.

Paul

I nearly bought those too but had just bought the 11 he had for £60 all in  ;D

Nice one 8)

I already had 15 of the grey ones and only needed nine more, otherwise I'd have to invest in another stock-box from JB's just for two extra wagons  :smiley-laughing:

Thanks everyone! I did veterinary medicine so soon, if I pass, I be treating all your cats and dogs (so watch out). It's been really hard but will hopefully be worth it in the end.  ;D Results in a week.
Now if Farish would only release the class 20's and 08 as a nice congratulations present.
