Huge thanks to N-Gauge-US for this initiative, it is a fascinating view of our N Gauge world. Thanks also for adding Chetcombe to the map - i was unable to fathom how to add a pin on my iPad

No problem :) More than happy to do it! And if it makes you feel any better, I can't do it from my iPhone and have to use a computer for all of the actual map editing and point placement :)

Thanks for adding 'Saneham Tey', Phillip.
It is a shame that this thread can't be made a bit more prominent or permanent near the top of an opening page, so that, as, eg Red Death has said, it would be interesting for some exhibition managers to look at the map when deciding what layouts to invite to exhibitions; it would give 'at a glance' information about the area/era(s)
Thanks again

Just underneath the map of members' locations thread in 'Welcome and Introduction' would be good, or a sticky in 'Layout Construction', possibly?

Just popped a Marker on for 'Hambleside East' - nice idea, and looks to be developing nicely... :)

Must be the N.E. winds  :(      :thankyousign:

It does indeed! The area between Cromer Highbeach and Hawthorn Dene is surprisingly sparse, especially given that York lies between them!

Thanks for contributing bazzanel and everyone else! The map is getting very interesting indeed! :)

 :thankyousign: for this, great idea.
I've added Kilnevan.
Easy to spot on the map as its the only marker in Ireland!  :smiley-laughing:

BTW, How do I get it to show up individually and not as 'other'?

The heading for this topic should be changed - there should no longer be a question mark at the end.
Working doesn't seem to be the perfect thing for me so I'll continue to play.

Oops.  I tried to add my model - Carmarthen to Cardiganshire - at Pencader, the central junction station. It came up as a red marker and when I used the colour pallette to make it 1930s, I think it changed all the other red markers to green.  :dunce:
Perhaps the proof that there is intelligent life in outer space is that they haven't contacted us.

Just caught up with this ... great idea and thanks to N-Gauge-US for kick starting it!

Added "Bramley & Wonersh" - it looks a bit lonely in the wilds of Surrey!
