I have 2 bachfar chocolate and cream coaches and when picking one up last night I thought something had dropped off of one of them. When I turned it over there where two little holes, in a line, underneath. Has something dropped off or is there something in the detailing pack that fits into them. The coaches I have are mk1 so and mk1 bk. Can't remember which one it was but I will check later. Does this sound normal?
Can you add images from iPhone/iPad? If so I will post pictures.
Yes IKB, you can. From any device with a browser:

Missing a battery box, maybe ?
I've just checked my half-a-dozen chocolate'n'cream Mk1s; the same model as the one you show here also has the two mystery holes; one or two others also do, the rest don't. I'm pretty sure nothing has ever fallen off these.
Of the two I have one does and one doesn't. The one that doesn't have them doesn't have any extras detail in the place of it. The plastic is just smooth.
Weird. Almost as if they were going to add a detail there but didn't! :hmmm:
Maybe the chassis is a common one for various types of coach ?
The holes could be there to attach e.g. a gas cylinder for a catering coach.
Best regards,
Joe
Possibly air brake equipment for dual-fitted stock? But I'm not knowledgeable enough to say what might be put in that position on the real thing.
The blue/grey mk1's have the extra holes too, as has been said, possibly for air brake equipment???
Cheers
Mark
I think they're the drain holes for the toilets... :poop:
Chris
crews filled up on top at the ends, yes last user is correct

If they are that's brilliant. Ha ha
one may need to reference several articles written on mk1s though
the toilets were filled up at the ends and the discharge pipe eg waste goes down by the buffers etc
there also may be theory these were early vacuum brake stock modelled
later stock were upgraded /. changed for air brake so air distributor / cylinder equipment would slot in and be equipment installed
may ring true !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
