If someone says they have no connection it generally means they are not the proprietor or related to them or have been paid to give a review but are, in fact, just informing others of good service received.
It is entirely up to the reader to decide how much truth there is the statement.

I have just got back from a week away, and am inundated by questionnaires.

I just delete them and don't get too worked up about them.

Rather like the Liar's Paradox-   Everything I say is a lie, but by saying
that I'm telling the truth ! However my word is my bond, I always play off
a straight bat,  have no axe to grind , play the white man , treat kings and
commoners equally and all the other timeworn phrases used by rogues
since the dawn of  time !
