Hi

Why? It will just be another list of things that won't see the light of day for a couple of years.

Cheers

I read somewhere (possibly here) that Bachmann were going to be realistic with their announcements, so perhaps it will be a list of the things that were announced two or more years ago that are actually going to be produced in 2017.

Best catalogue is Union Mills following on from Hornby (Liverpool) - no promises but guaranteed a new model annually .

£10 says this topic turns into a wishlist by the bottom of the first page.  :P

Back on topic, it is hard to believe it has been nearly 9 months since the 319 has announced.

My guesses for next month:

Their Thompson carriages in OO shrunk down to N
Rebuilt Bulleid Pacific (Merchant Navy)
Cut-away cab class 47s with long-range fuel tanks

Next year will be the 50th anniversary of the ending of regular steam on the Southern Region so they'll present a train pack consisting of a heavily weathered Std 5 4-6-0 and a mixed rake of Bulleids and Mk1s.

It'll also be 20 years since BR was fully privatised with the sale of Railfreight Distribution, so a RfD class 47 with freight stock will be offered as a train pack.

Reliveries:

Class 150/1 in Silverlink
Class 150/2 in GWR

Should have also added - 60th anniversary (1957) of the introduction of BR's first pilot scheme diesels

class 20 D8000-19 - featuring oval buffers and ladders
class 31 D5500-19 - in original livery featuring duck egg blue stripes would go down well http://www.nrm.org.uk/globalmedia/NRM_CT_936503_2.png

I can see there been a split headcode class 37 coming out especially with Colas naming 37099 in memory of Merl Evans on friday it goes with the other 37s they already offer.
Mechanical issues can be solved with a hammer and electrical problems can be solved with a screw driver. Beyond that it's verbal abuse which makes trains work!!

silly moo

I'm hoping for a rebuilt merchant navy and enough time to save up for it  :D

Morning all,

We'll I'd hate for Karhedron to loose his tenner so here is what I'd like to see:

Retooled 8F
City of Truro
N15
More variations of MK1 (BSO, BFK)
Coach bogies to be made available as a spare item!

Cheers

Ollie

Collected this list from Warley last weekend, how likely to stay on track who knows.

Another house move despite "never again" has given me a second floor layout so Geominster Mainline & Heritage Line will be modified and enlarged with siding storage.

My Facebook Diary is Geominster if anyone wants to view it please ask, it is a private group requiring acceptance, thanks.

This then is my third version modified which has been improved from previous efforts and lessons learned.

Geominster was my first project which has now been dismantled. Having learnt so much from  previous Geominster projects this is the latest one.

Latest Youtube video is here.

Also:

3-car 101 in Strathclyde orange/black (good choice alongside the 371-511 blue/grey version)
150/1 in Silverlink livery but with First Great Western branding http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=238542

A set of station buildings based on a preserved railway - this year it was Shillingstone, next year, either ex-Midland based on Oakworth? or Butterley?
or ex-Great Eastern, as Farish brought out a model of Downham Market signal box in NSE colours, perhaps follow it up with a collection of other ex-GER buildings.
